(continued from Write On Screens)
This section cover basic functionality of the Write-on for iPod device
The standard iPod touch navigation rules apply to the WRITE-ON application. Simply stated, you can navigate up and down window panes by flicking your finger up and down.
The Write-On for iPod Touch allows the user two input methods: Keyboard and Group Modes. The Keyboard Mode utilizes the iPod's on screen keyboard and relies on the use of abbreviations for menu item/command entry. Item and command abbreviations typically consist of the first letter of each word of the item or command name. For example, New York Strip Steak could be "NYSS". A command such as Timed Send could be abbreviated as "TS". As you write the abbreviation, the matching items/commands will appear in the Selection Window on the right. You can select the desired item at any time by tapping the item in the Selection window.
